Services

  • Provides outdoor and indoor services to patients with Obstetric & Gynecological problems.
  • Labour room is well equipped with multipara monitors for mothers and CTG machines for fetal monitoring in high-risk pregnancies.
  • Attached maternity emergency OT and facility of HDU for critically ill patients.
    Department excels in the management of high-risk pregnancies.
  • Department has USG machines for Antenatal surveillance as well as Gynecological
    diagnosis.
  • GOI flagship programs like JSSK, JSY, PMMVY, Ayushman Bharat scheme, Family planning, and ICTC services are smoothly running in the department.
  • Department gives specialized services in the fields of Infertility, Menopause, Genetics, Gynecologic Oncology, High-Risk pregnancy, and state of the art Endoscopy services.
  • Department maintains monthly labour room, cesarean and hysterectomy, still birth and maternal mortality data and regular auditing is done.

  2. Dr. Navneet Takkar - DST Project as Co -Principal Investigator-“Epidemiological study of exposure to Covid 19 infection and its outcome among  Health care workers”
  3. Dr Rimpy - Co-supervisor -Maternal awareness of oral health of child and impact on early childhood caries: A longitudinal study.
  4. Dr Rimpy - Co-supervisor- Fear psychosis of pregnant females during Covid pandemic.
  5. Dr Rimpy- Co-supervisor - A study to assess the level of anxiety related to pregnancy outcome among primigravida mothers in 3rd trimester of pregnancy attending antenatal OPD at GMCH-32 Chandigarh.
  6. Dr. Bharti Goel - Co-Investigator - Evaluation of dual p16 and Ki-67 immune expression in cervical carcinoma and its precursor lesions
