14. Faculty and Postgraduates attended FORENSIC MEDICON – 2019 40th National Conference of the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine “ Medical Profession at Cross Road – Negligence and Violence against Doctors” held at Dr. S. N Medical College, Jodhpur on 31st Jan., 19 – 2nd Feb 2019 and presented the following :
1. Dr. Dasari Harish, delivered a Guest Lecture on the “New MCI Curriculum, where do we stand”.
- Dr. Ajay Kumar presented a paper titled- “Forensic Audit of Histopathological examination of viscera in medicolegal cases.”.
-  Dr. Preet Inder Singh presented a paper titled- “Amended Traffic rules in Wearing Helmet by Females: A 5 year Retrospective Study.
- Dr. Gagandeep Kalsi presented a paper titled – “Fatal dog mauling masquerading as sharp force injuries : case report.”.
-  Dr. Varun Modgil presented a paper titled “Intentional homicidal neck injury being disposed off as a vehicular accident – Case report”.
15.  Dr Ajay Kumar delivered lectures as Guest faculty at Regional Health Statistical Training Centre, Central Bureau of Health Intelligence, Mohali on 23/01/2019 on following topics:
- Registration of births & deaths and role & responsibilities of medical records handler with special emphasis on medical certification of cause of death.
- General rules, regulations and medicolegal aspects of medical records and related policies in India, including ethics & patient rights.
16. Dr Mandar R Sane, participated in FMT-MPCON-III, 3rd Annual Conference of Medicolegal Expert Association Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur from 12 & 13 January, 19 and presented paper titled- ‘Ice pick stabs masquerading as pellet injuries’.
17. Dr Dasari Harish delivered lecture as Guest faculty at Training Session of IPS Officers at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad on topic- ‘Medical Negligence’ on 15th February 2019.

2. Dr Amandeep Singh delivered lecture as Guest faculty at Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration on 20/02/2019 on following topics:
- Meaning, Forms & causes of disability
- How to calculate disabilities on score card.
3. Dr. Amandeep Singh delivered lecture as Guest faculty on topic- ‘Collection of bite marks by methods other than photographs’ at workshop on ‘Bitemarks evaluation & utility in the current scenario’ at Sri Sukhmani Dental College & Hospital, Dera Bassi on 15th February 2019.
4. Dr Amandeep Singh participated in 6th INPAFO held on 15th-17th February 2019 and presented paper titled- ‘Missing tooth can prove the identification wrong: a case report’.
5. Dr Ajay Kumar delivered lectures as Guest faculty at Regional Health Statistical Training Centre, Central Bureau of Health Intelligence, Mohali on 13/02/2019 on following topics:
• Injury, poisoning and certain other consequences of external causes.
• External causes of morbidity & mortality.

8. Dr Amandeep Singh delivered lecture as an Expert for guidance of Judicial Officers of Sessions Division, Chandigarh on 20.03.19.
9. Dr Dasari Harish and Dr Amandeep Singh attended ‘CME cum Workshop on Competency Based Medical Education: Concept & Application’ at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana on 29th-30th April, 2019. Dr Amandeep Singh also presented poster titled- ‘Vertical Integration in PG Training: Experience of Department of Forensic Medicine’ in the CME.
10. Dr Amandeep Singh delivered lecture as Guest faculty at Government Multi-specialty Hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh on 22.04.2019 on topic of ‘POCSO Act, 2012’.

Prof. attended the course on “Impact of Scientific Investigation of Crime Involving firearms” scheduled on 16th – 19th September, 19 organised by LNJN National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences, Ministry of Home Affairs, GOI, Outer Ring Road, Delhi.
14. Dr. Dasari Harish, Prof. & Head attended one day CME at Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College, Kumarhati, Solan and delivered keynote address on 28th September, 19.
15. Dr. Amandeep Singh, Assoc. Prof., delivered a lecture on “role of Forensics in Investigation of Custodial violence” at Institute of Correctional Administration Sector 26, Chandigarh on 26.09.19.
16. Dr. Amandeep Singh, Assoc. Prof., attended one day CME at Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College, Kumarhati, Solan and delivered a lecture on MOHFW guidelines for handling of the victims of Sexual Assault and setting up of OSCC on 28th September, 19.
17. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Assoc. Prof., attended one day CME at Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College, Kumarhati, Solan and delivered a lecture on “Recent Advances in Forensic Medicine” on 28th September, 19.
18. Dr.Dasari Harish, Prof. & Head delivered a guest lecture on “Documentation and Legal issues in Medical & Dental Practice” on 12.10.19 during 17th Annual Conference of the Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, held at GMCH-32, Chandigarh.
19. Dr. Dasari Harish, Prof. & Head successfully completed ICT training from7th – 11th October, 2019 organised by DTE, UT, Chandigarh.
20. Dr. Amandeep Singh, Assoc.Prof. presented a paper on “Suicide by Self Immolation using LPG Cylinder – A case report” on 12.10.19 during 17th Annual Conference of the Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology held at GMCH-32, Chandigarh
